How to Take Screen Shot on A Compaq Presario Pc

Some websites will not allow you to save the images on their website. To save these images Compaq laptops have a print screen option. This will take a digital snapshot of whatever is displayed on the computer at the time. Once the snapshot is taken it needs transferred into Paint, the image-editing software on a Compaq laptop, to save it as an image.

Step

Open the laptop to screen that you want to make a screenshot of.

Step

Hold down the "fn" key beside the "Ctrl" key on the left side of the keyboard.

Step

Press the "prt sc"(print screen) button. The screenshot is now created.

Step

Click the "Start" button. Click "All Programs". Click "Accessories" then "Paint".

Step

Click the "Paste" button at the top of the screen. The screenshot is now pasted into the program. Click the blue menu button in the top left corner. Click "Save as". Choose a location for the file and choose "Save". The screenshot is now an image on your computer.
